About Chandigarh University
Chandigarh University has invited application for admission in B.Tech programmes. Chandigarh University admission 2024 for B.Tech is based on JEE Main. JEE Main 2024 Session 2 result is out on jeemainsession2.ntaonline.in. Candidates can check their score by logging in using their application number and date of birth.
Chandigarh University offers a total of 44 degree programmes in the fields of engineering, management, architecture, computing, education, arts & humanities, basic sciences, commerce, and culinary sciences to name a few. There are over 226 course specialisations available at UG, PG, Certificate, and PhD levels. All these courses are offered under 18 academic institutes at the university. Some of the popular degrees offered by the university are BE, BTech, MBA, BArch, BBA+MBA, ME, MTech, and many others. The university offers these courses with approval from regulatory authorities such as AICTE, BCI, NCHMCT, PCI, COA, and NCTE. It conducts the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) for admission to its UG and PG programmes. Chandigarh University admission is also based on few other entrance exams like JEE Main, NATA, CAT, MAT, and ATMA.
Chandigarh University is a private university established in 2012 by the Punjab State Legislature. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). In addition, it became the youngest and the only private university in India to receive an A+ grade by NAAC in its first accreditation cycle in 2029. Chandigarh University is the only university in Punjab to get accredited by the NBA for its Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Communications, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical, CSE, Aerospace, and MBA programmes. It also offers ABET-accredited engineering programmes. Moreover, It was placed in the 45th position in the overall category and the 27th position in the universities category in the NIRF Ranking 2023.

Chandigarh University admission process is entirely based on entrance exams for its UG and PG courses. The entrance exam conducted by the university for its UG and PG admission is called CUCET. This is an admission-cum-scholarship test conducted in two phases during every admission season. The university also accepts JEE Main for BTech, NATA/ JEE Main paper 2 for BArch, and CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ ATMA for MBA. JEE Main 2024 Session 2 result was declared on April 24, 2024. Students also need to ensure that they fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria before proceeding with the application process for Chandigarh University admission. Chandigarh University Cut Off
Chandigarh University cutoff based on CUCET will be the basis of admission in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Candidates must note that even though both JEE Main and CUCET cutoff are accepted for admissions to BE programmes, students with 90% and above in 10 + 2 or with a JEE Main rank upto 50,000 are eligible for direct admissions. For other entrance exams like NATA for B.Arch and CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA for MBA, a separate Chandigarh University cutoff 2024 list will be released. Once the Chandigarh University cutoff is out, candidates will be communicated directly during the admission process. Prior to that, candidates must compulsorily meet the minimum Chandigarh University cutoff, which is 50% aggregate marks in 10+2/10 + 3 with only Physics or Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects in case of UG admission and an aggregate score of 50% marks in case of PG admission.
